Susan Launisis was also brutally beaten in her bed but she miraculously survived, albeit with life-changing injuries. Harold got up at 5 AM that night in December and retrieved a ball-peen hammer from the lower floor of the house. He returned to the master bedroom, where his wife was still sleeping.

Emma manages to retrieve a shotgun and wound Tom; an earthquake occurs and Tom's victims buried in the greenhouse are resurrected as zombies and feast on him. Emma escapes the carnage as a bright light shines from inside the greenhouse. The house's real estate agent Jerry is a no-show, so the crew enter and begin filming after Emma breaks in and turns on the power.

In September 2022, before she took office as mayor, Ms. Bass’s personal home in the city’s Baldwin Vista neighborhood was burglarized. Property crimes increased by about 3.5 percent, and motor vehicle thefts went up by 2 percent, compared with the previous year, the report said. Ephraim Matthew Hunter, 29, was taken into custody at the property without incident, Los Angeles police said on Monday. Mr. Hunter, who lives in Los Angeles, has been charged with burglary.

"I think to first responders and to the other emergency services it was a very confronting scene for them," he said. And last December, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said that she was swatted, or subjected to a hoax call, on Christmas Day. It was not the first time she had been targeted of swatting, she said. “This is like the 8th time,” she wrote on social media after the incident.

She shot Moira in her eye, then turned to Hugo, told him he'd broken her heart "for the last time," and shot him three times in the chest. She later disposed of their bodies, told everyone Hugo had run off, and spent the rest of her time on Earth doing her best to torment Moira's ghost. Afterwards, Moira's ghost ends up being a litmus test of sorts to the living. Those who see her as a caring person see an older woman (Frances Conroy).

According to the coroner report, he struck her so hard with the hammer that it left an inch-wide hole in her skull. Lillian, however, didn’t die immediately—she continued to breathe a little longer. By this point, Harold had experienced a number of coronaries, apparently as a result of the financial stress his family was under.

The eggs that she finds are placed in the basket as it's part of the Easter Ripper's game. After unlocking certain doors Gary appears and tells Emma to help him "find a way out of here". Sadly for him, the Easter Ripper shows up behind him and disembowels him while Emma hides under the bed. Emma goes to the attic where she replaces the bulb with a black bulb she found. She uses it which takes her to the part of the basement where the killer kept and abused his victims. She exits the room and finds Tom's smashed camera in the kitchen and takes the VHS tape.

By now, 36 deaths had been legally documented to have taken place in the house. In this same year, Cordelia Goode sent Madison Montgomery and Behold Chablis to the house in order to gather information about Michael Langdon, a possible next Supreme. They purchased the house under the guise of a newly married couple, keeping it in the possession of the Salem Coven to ensure no more deaths occurred within its walls.

“This bill will save hundreds of thousands, I believe millions of lives,” Sherman said. “Why would we knowingly be sending money into the hands of Hamas in any bill? A few critics came to the floor to discuss it however, such as Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., who took issue with the nearly $9.2 billion in humanitarian aid that he said would be delivered to Palestinians in Gaza.

In one key difference from the Senate-passed bill, over $9 billion in economic aid to Ukraine is structured as a loan, though the president could waive the repayment requirement unless Congress votes to block such waivers. That wasn’t enough to tamp down criticism from some in the House GOP. In the end, the four votes reflected bipartisan support for paying the price of continued U.S. engagement abroad, despite vocal misgivings about it from some on the right and others on the left. After the House voted, senators reached an agreement to hold two procedural votes at 1 p.m. One, by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, or a designee, would table a pending related amendment. The other would start the Senate on a path toward clearing the aid measure.

Ben would support her and their child, or she'd tell Vivien what he'd done. She never has the child, though, as Larry shows up and smacks her in the head with a shovel. Vivien and Violet are alone during the home invasion because Ben, like so many of the Murder House's owners, is a cad.

Murder House generally received positive reviews from critics and drew consistently high ratings for FX, ending its cycle as the biggest new cable series of the year. The season was nominated for various industry awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series – Drama, and received a total of seventeen Emmy Award nominations. In addition, Lange won the Golden Globe, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Primetime Emmy Award for her supporting role. He said usually when people "annihilate" their families like this, there is a history of domestic violence reports and protection orders, but he said this family was "really flying under the radar."

On December 23rd, 2000, Berman was murdered execution-style with a 9mm handgun at her home on Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills. In 2015, Durst was arrested for Berman’s murder and it was also believed he had killed his first wife, Kathleen, who went missing in New York in 1982. One of the biggest mysteries in Hollywood history is who murdered William Desmond Taylor. Lieutenant Tom Ziegler was told this was a “natural death” but when he arrived at the house on South Alvarado Street, he noticed Taylor had a bullet wound in his back.

An autopsy revealed Brown had been stabbed several times in the neck and had a gash across her throat so severe, she was nearly decapitated. The defensive wounds on Goldman led investigators to believe he died trying to save Brown from her attacker. From the night of the murders and up to their arrests, the brothers bought a Rolex watch, a Porsche Carrera, hired a professional tennis coach, and went on vacation in the Caribbean. It is believed that they spent somewhere around $700,000 in 100 days.

It ended when he armed himself with a gun and shot her multiple times. Notorious mobster Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel was well-known for being the man behind the development of the Las Vegas Strip and he had a net worth equal to $100 million today. Along the way, he certainly made a lot of powerful enemies including Paul John “Frankie” Carbo a Mafia soldier in the Lucchese crime family, who operated as a gunman with Murder, Inc. Constance managed to snatch one of the boys, her grandson, after Dr. Ben was murdered by his former lover Hayden. Constance took the child, whom she later named Michael, and fled Los Angeles. There's a rumor that another family briefly rented the house after the Perelsons, and that it's their Christmas tree in the living room (the Perelsons were reportedly Jewish). The rumor goes on that they fled the house on the anniversary of the attack, leaving their wrapped presents behind. Most of the other junk in the house dates to sometime after the murders too.

But those who just objectify women — like Ben — see her as young, seductive, and dangerous. Looking more like nine months pregnant than three weeks, something was clearly off, but money was money, so the abortion was happening. Dr. Montgomery successfully (or so he thought) did his bloody job, giving the remains to his nurse. Rather than bat an eye, the good doctor proudly gave the infant vampire to his mother, who she named Bartholomew. At some point over the next decade, the house became the dentist office of Dr. David Curran. When a woman named Elizabeth Short arrived for an unlisted appointment, Curran used anesthesia to knock her unconscious and then proceeded to rape her, but used too much and inadvertently killed her via overdose.

He rebuilt his dead son and brought him back to life, giving the result to his wife, Nora (Lily Rabe). Horrified after it bit her and drank her blood, she tried killing the baby dubbed the Infantata (Ben Woolf), but it wouldn't die. The handsome Spanish Revival mansion at 2475 Glendower Place in wealthy Los Feliz has long been one of Los Angeles's creepiest mysteries. If the story was just that a doctor had killed his wife with a ball-peen hammer, then himself with Nembutal and pills, it'd still get passed around among neighborhood kids. But after the murder-suicide, the house sold and stayed empty for decades—still decorated for Christmas as it supposedly had been on the December night of the murders. It was a lovely house in a desirable neighborhood, abandoned to piles of old trash, thrill-seeking trespassers, and murder mystery bus tours.

In her State of the City Address this month, Ms. Bass hailed the city’s progress in lowering crime rates and homelessness. Ms. Bass’s office said in a statement that she and her family were safe and had not sustained any injuries. He told USA TODAY that police had no calls or reports of any domestic violence from the family. According to Knight, investigators determined that the suspected shooter got into an altercation with his wife.

Reardon said Grayson’s family, who believe her death was preventable, will soon be filing a lawsuit. Grayson’s daughter called police to request a well-being check after Grayson missed some appointments after Reese, the warrant said. The daughter said she used a phone location app and it said Grayson was at the address of the halfway house, according to the document. He added that the bodies were found in different areas of the two-story house.

There, she was reunited with her children, Beau, Rose, and Tate for all eternity. This timeline, though, is magically destroyed in the Season 8 finale. The Coven sends their most powerful member, Mallory (Billie Lourd), back in time, killing Michael before he can destroy the world, and leaving a relieved Constance alive. Charles was already addicted to ether at this point, fond of stitching animal parts together, and clearly half mad, so this pushed him over the edge.

Then the housing market collapsed, and they got stuck with an oversized home stuffed full of ghosts. In "Murder House", Ben Harmon builds a gazebo in the garden to mask where Hayden McClaine was buried. Moira O'Hara is also buried in the same grave, but Ben is unaware of this. It is worth noting that the gazebo is demolished by Madison Montgomery and Behold Chablis, in order to find the human remains of Moira O'Hara, in erased timeline.

The couple apparently planned to renovate it and removed everything from the inside. Aside from being used as a storage site by the Enriquez family, the house remained empty of residents for decades. After Emily and Julian died, the house was passed on to their son Rudy Enriquez, who continued to use the house to store things. There were plenty of reports of Rudy visiting the house to drop off and pick up items, but never staying there. According to one of the more popular legends, the Perelsons’ Christmas tree and wrapped gifts still sat in their living room, rotting away among dusty furniture. Amateur investigators peered into the windows and spotted items like old Life magazines and Spaghetti-O’s.

Barbed Wire Tattoo Meanings and 60+ Awesome Ideas

barb wire tattoo design

The artist who completed this tattoo has gone for a completely traditional look that somehow reads as fresh and creative. Religious gentlemen can interrupt barbed wire as a symbol of the Crown of Thorns Jesus once wore. While, farmers and rangers might just like the idea based upon its heritage in relation to their line of work. In reality, there’s a lot of different reasons males go with the traditional design, some of which have far deeper meanings.

Black Raven Tattoo

A small barbed wire tattoo is as flexible as it is easy since the size of the structure is stretchable, and the pattern is simple. You may place it in an area as disclosed as the collarbone for privacy, replacing it with a wrist tattoo for more exposure. On top of being a time-friendly option, a barbed wire finger tattoo comprises a subtle formation, which any tattoo artist can mimic. Since one’s fingers are often all bone and no meat, expecting a painful procedure is normal.

She currently works at True Tattoo in the heart of Hollywood and Ten Thousand Waves Tattoo Gallery in Sherman Oaks. Though her style is versatile, she especially likes traditional and black and gray tattoo work. Here’s another heart dagger tattoo that looks unlike most out there. The heart is framed with circular shapes that look like it’s been encrusted with some sort of precious stone. An eye in the center with black, exaggerated tears seems mysterious in all the right ways.

And for barbed wire tattoos, her singular act catapulted the artwork to fame. Thanks to the greater freedom that this style permits, it is perfectly suited to incorporate a number of different creative compositions and design elements, like barbed wire. These tattoos are great examples of what is capable with the neo-traditional style and an interesting concept.

Beware of the procedure of this design, however, as the bone-like structure of the knees can’t withstand the blows of even the finest needle. The wearer may be attempting to communicate a message to others with this ink — they may be seeking praise or acceptance from others, indicating dependency difficulties. Its spiritual meaning can also refer to self-control and self-awareness of one’s limitations. Although, some people decide to get this tattoo in order to remember the legendary actress Pamela Anderson. Also, “rose in the keys of the wire” is sometimes applied to women. They have it simply means that its owner served time in prison.

Through the tides of time and culture, barbed wire tattoos have transcended their origins, becoming a versatile symbol that reflects the multi-faceted narratives of human life. It’s a testament to the fact that in tattoo artistry, like in life, meanings are not static, but evolve, much like the stories they embody. Many people add various kinds of elements to their barbed wire tattoo design as it adds to the theme. They can also add some elements to represent various kinds of meanings and symbols. Here, the person has added an arrow done with black and red ink.

Legs make a particularly eye-catching canvas for this awe-inspiring design. The symbolism of the barbed wire takes on other meanings and a more spiritual tone in Christianity, echoing the crown of thorns that Jesus bore during his crucifixion. This powerful imagery can signify a devotion to faith and a willingness to endure suffering. Another fascinating facet of this iconic design is its popularity among prisoners and those who’ve done time behind bars. To them, every spike in the tattoo represents a year spent in confinement, a tangible reminder of the trials they’ve survived. The story of barbed wire goes way back to the Wild West days, originally devised to keep cattle off the lush farmlands.

They also offer ornamental and geometric styles, dot works, and black and grey works. Dark Horse also provides cosmetic tattooing services, including microblading for eyebrows, areola pigmentation, and scalp micro pigmentation. The shop’s team of experienced tattoo artists has a combined professional experience of over 40 years.

The length of the legs can surely come in handy if the groundwork you have in mind is substantial, but it could be difficult to work with for tattoo artists. While the canvas of the leg is pretty sizable, the surface remains incredibly wobbly and uneven. With tons of skin and meat around the surface, a leg tattoo can be painless. The area is also exceptionally spacious and lengthy, making it the perfect choice for implementing intricate and complex forms of barbed wire tattoos. While this option can be a tough call for sensitive skin to side with, placing a barbed wire tattoo onto the surface of the knee can be beneficial in many ways.

A Porthole stateroom (category code PT) on a Carnival cruise is still classed as an Interior room, despite the fact that you’re getting a (limited) view of the ocean. These rooms have twin round windows that are small, but do allow some natural light into the room. Some Interior Upper/Lower rooms actually have small porthole windows.

Too Small: Majesty of the Seas' Standard Insides

If you want to know what I mean, then read on to learn everything you need to know about Carnival’s Interior cabins. Wherever on the ship you make your home base, good times aren't far. Some cabins have connecting rooms with a common door between them. Every one of the suites in those categories is bigger than any suite found on Carnival Panorama. Slightly smaller are a dozen 710-square-foot Excel Corner Suites offering separate sleeping and lounging areas and wraparound balconies. A step down are six smaller Excel Suites that measure 614 square feet.

WE SAIL ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Smoking can be a divisive issue on cruise ships, and it's banned nearly everywhere on board. However, it's permitted in the casino, which would be fine if I didn't have to pass through the casino to get to certain parts of the ship. But there was no way to avoid the smoky areas if I needed to get to the Liquid Lounge theater from the Ocean Plaza.

Balcony

I would say that a Porthole cabin isn’t worth paying any extra for compared to a standard Interior. Yes, you do get a tiny bit of natural light, but the thickness of the walls means that the amount is limited, as is the view. However don’t forget about the lack of natural light, which could be a dealbreaker. If you think that natural light is important in your bedroom then look out for Interior rooms with portholes or obstructed views, or consider paying a little more for an Ocean View stateroom.

Both the inside cabin and extended balcony stateroom featured a spacious and modern walk-in shower.

That's about 40% smaller than the biggest ships operated by Royal Caribbean. This is, after all, the brand that for many years held a Hairy Chest Contest around the pool deck on every voyage, to a standing-room-only, hooting and hollering crowd. Carnival ships are all about fun in a very laid-back, unpretentious, nothing-too-fancy sort of way. That said, we highly recommend looking at the deck plans to see what is above and below your cabin.

Family Harbor Staterooms & Suites

Oceanview cabins on Carnival ships can sometimes be bigger than inside cabins and even bigger than balcony cabins (when comparing their interior space). On Carnival Panorama, some oceanview cabins measure 185 square feet — the same as inside cabins. But there also are bigger "standard" oceanview cabins that measure 220 square feet and "deluxe" oceanview cabins that measure 230 square feet. Complaints vary but largely hone in on the cabins' small size (128 square feet), awkward layout (including poor TV positioning) and in-cabin noise from the bathroom. Another reviewer griped that, despite being billed as family-friendly, the cabin wasn't large enough to fit in a cot for a baby on a recent sailing.

What is an Interior Upper/Lower Room?

You’ll find your outpost a wave-watcher’s paradise… and while we can’t promise, you just might catch a living, swimming marine biology lesson from your railing! This stateroom features a unique nautical décor inspired by the craft of seafaring itself. The whole family will also enjoy exclusive access to the nearby Family Harbor Lounge, plus more great perks around the ship.

Even though the ship is small, with a total guest capacity of 2,606, it’s ideal for a quick weekend away if you want a mix of relaxation and high-energy activities. I've sailed the most on Carnival Elation since the ship sails from my hometown of Jacksonville. And because the ship is so small, it's easy to navigate, and I always end up making friends with the delightful crew onboard. Carnival Valor is almost 20 years old and still showing cruisers a good time. The ship's home ports are New Orleans, Louisiana, and Barcelona, Spain, and it offers two to over 10-night sailings.

Rent cabanas or lounge in the ocean-view whirlpools at Loft 19, where attentive staff take care of everything, like delivering you fruit and chilled towels. My favorite spot to hang out was the aft Patio Pool because it wasn't ever super crowded, and the view of the ocean was unmatched. Carnival Jubilee is the newest Excel-class ship in the fleet, sailing from Galveston, Texas.

Each group has its own age-appropriate activities ranging from face painting to pirate adventures. On many ships there are extensive dedicated spaces for the different groups. The top decks of Carnival vessels are covered in family-focused attractions – pools, waterslide areas and bustling fun zones with such draws as ropes courses and miniature golf.

The drawers in the extended balcony stateroom appeared to be bigger than the ones in our inside cabin. Both staterooms could technically accommodate 4 people, although the extended balcony stateroom felt much more spacious for a family. Our inside cabin did not have anywhere to sit in the stateroom other than on the beds or the vanity ottoman.

Picking a cabin on a Carnival Cruise Line ship isn't nearly as complicated as picking a cabin on, say, a Royal Caribbean or a Celebrity Cruises ship.

Carnival Jubilee™ has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Grand Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. Each of our ships is a unique experience — check the features and find out which ship is right for you. It joins Carnival Freedom, Carnival Vista and Carnival’s Mardi Gras calling the Orlando-area port home. STATEROOM DESIGN

(Enough USB charging ports for everybody’s stuff? Oh yes!) Thoughtful, guest-centric design is how we do it… and all this in-room convenience comes paired with a fresh new look. For an extended cruise from Tampa, Florida, or Baltimore, Maryland, look to Carnival Pride. Carnival Conquest takes cruisers to the Bahamas and the Caribbean on two to 10-day sailings.

CENTER STAGE + PLAYLIST PRODUCTIONS

From the least expensive cruises overall to great deals on cruise itineraries you don’t see every day, this list should give you a good idea of what sort of offers are out there. A Carnival passenger taking seven-night cruises will hit the Platinum level during their 11th sailing. Sail a few longer voyages, like a transatlantic sailing, and you could reach it even sooner.

Carnival's biggest operations are out of PortMiami and Port Canaveral in Florida; Galveston, Texas; Long Beach, California; and New Orleans — all major cruise hubs. You'll also find Carnival ships in such secondary cruise ship ports as Baltimore; Charleston, South Carolina; Mobile, Alabama; and Jacksonville, Florida. The arrival of Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration over the past two years has marked a major turning point for the line. At around 180,000 tons, they rank at No. 15 and No. 13, respectively, among the world's largest cruise ships — the only Carnival ships to crack the Top 20.

THINKING ABOUT THE CARIBBEAN?

carnibal cruise

Every performances is built on amazing songs you know and love, presented like you’ve never seen before. Multi-talented performers fill the stage with song, dance... Then they sometimes leave the stage behind, like in The Most Magnificent Circus and We Are One where they soar above the audience. Or Color My World, a show where they break into actual live-graffiti painting, right on stage. Carnival Panorama, another sister to Carnival Vista, entered service as the cruise line's flagship on December 11, 2019.

The benefits don’t end there — your little girls and boys eat free in most onboard specialty restaurants and get a free evening of Night Owls babysitting service, so you can enjoy a little alone time. During my recent sailing, I found all the Carnival classics, like the Alchemy Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint, a thrilling ropes course, dive-in movies, and plenty of themed deck parties. And any time you’re in your well-appointed Balcony stateroom aboard Carnival Jubilee™, you’re just steps away from the outdoors by way of your private open-air oasis.

After all, it’s so authentically Miami… just check out the art deco designs, neon splashes and great flavors! On that note there’s Bar 820 for tropical cocktails and Cuban coffee, plus Deco Deli serving up a selection of classic sandwiches… Cuban faves included. And while Miami isn’t quite known as a pizza town, we don’t think you’ll mind that we’re serving up the cheesy stuff until 4 a.m. (Roll up your sleeves and dig in!) And like any cosmopolitan center, dining quality and variety counts big. That’s why you’ll find Cucina del Capitano and Rudi’s Seagrill restaurants in the neighborhood.

Hike Canaveral Seashore’s Klondike Beach: A 13-mile trek along wild Florida coastline

You’ll visit Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas, and don’t forget days at sea to work on your tan. And while the price isn’t as cheap as the lowest fares of 2024, it’s still a strong deal. The round trip cruise has stops in Mahogany Bay (Carnival’s private port in Roatan), Costa Maya, and Cozumel before returning home. There’s a lot to do on this ship, so being able to sail for a week will give you time to get it all done. And in an unusual move for these sort of lengthy trips, the cruise is aboard Carnival Panorama — one of the newer ships in the fleet. That’s why we searched Carnival’s schedule out more than a year from now to scout some of the most attractive deals in a variety of categories.

Other interior attractions and activities

That’s because here, in The Gateway zone, “international flavor” isn’t just an expression, but a way of life! Design, décor, cuisine and even the entertainment is inspired by grand locations, landmarks from around the world. But every moment is a special occasion thanks to onboard spots that are proud to import their flavor from all over.

She became the first new ship to homeport on the West Coast since Paradise (now Carnival Paradise) in 1998. With two to nine-day cruises from Tampa to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, Carnival Paradise literally takes cruisers to paradise islands. The ship brims with fun amenities like the WaterWorks splash zone and the relaxing Cloud 9 Spa. Head to the main theater for enchanting live performances and shows every night, enjoy tacos and burgers on the pool decks, or find a lounge chair around the pool and soak up the sun. Carnival Freedom is ideal for first-time cruisers because of the lower guest capacity and the smaller ship size.

Carnival Jubilee has the travel pros and press about as excited as cruise fans. Even during construction, we knew where we were heading with the big plans for Carnival Jubilee! So here’s your deck-by-deck look at where to find all the fun, and all the staterooms. Enjoy old favorites or find fresh new ones aboard Carnival Jubilee™, where our chefs aim to delight any time from mealtime to snacktime to pizza-time (that’s ‘til 4 a.m.!). In the world of Carnival Jubilee™ zones are where fun, flavor and relaxation live… and there are six just waiting for you to explore. The fun continues when you reach your port — there’s a huge variety of shore excursions to choose from.

BlueIguana is a Chipotle-style restaurant, with yummy made-to-order burritos and tacos. Created in partnership with Food Network's Guy Fieri, Guy's Burger Joint offers burgers that beat anything you'll find around the pool on other mass-market ships and even most luxury vessels. Note that Carnival's two oldest ships — those that are part of the 1990s-built Fantasy Class — have relatively few balcony cabins by today's standards. (After retrofitting, several have around 150 balcony cabins, out of a total of more than 1,000 cabins in all.) In part because of this, Carnival has been phasing these ships out of its fleet in recent years. You'll find at least one of its ships sailing out of pretty much every major port city around the country. Design is more than just the way things look — it's as much about how they work.

At Summer Landing, fun this cool is literally always in season. If you want a cruise that’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, this trip fits the bill. First, you’ll sail from LA to Alaska with three ports of call and sailing the Endicott Arm. We’re big fans of sailing Alaska and consider it a must-see. For the most part, Carnival ships don't have quite as many features on board as Royal Caribbean or Norwegian vessels, in part because they're not as big. They're still packed with a variety of attractions, including multiple entertainment venues, casinos, spas and lots of deck-top fun zones such as water parks and ropes courses.
